We moved from Queens to Washington Heights to be close to the major bicycle path, which goes most of the way around Manhattan. From our place all the way down to the tip of the island, it's almost entirely isolated from the street.

We use Pampers mostly but have used Huggies and Luvs, I hate the elastic sides on Huggies because we roll up our dirty diapers and the longer elastic bands always seem to hook onto the diaper while roilling it up, as for Luvs I don't have a problem with them but they are not much cheaper than Pampers and Pampers has their "Pampers Points" program.
